To expand our capacity, we are constantly looking for good translators from English into the following European languages: Dutch, German, French, Spanish, Italian, Norwegian, Swedish, Danish, and Finnish.
Job description
Our freelance translators translate and edit technical documentation and other texts. As a translator you will be able to complete assigned tasks in a professional and timely manner. You will report to one of our project managers and cooperate with colleagues to implement linguistic solutions. In your work you will adhere to documented quality standards, terminology requirements, style guides, and customer-specific checklists.
Qualifications/skills/background
- Native fluency in the target language and an excellent command of English; knowledge of other languages is desirable
- Strong technical background
- Experience in translating software or electronics documentation is preferred
- At least one year’s experience in translating texts from English
- Proven editing and proofreading experience
- Ability to work well with others in a multicultural environment
Education: Bachelor’s degree or equivalent is preferred
